From classrooms to policy spaces — collaboration is central to translating our ideas into practice
The School of Continuing Education and University Resource Centre (SCE-URC) at Azim Premji University focuses on strengthening public systems through capacity building, resource development, and sustained engagement with practitioners. Our core purpose is to bridge academic knowledge with field practice and contribute to systemic improvement.
We engage with in-service professionals across the public education system, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), and other development stakeholders. Together, these stakeholders operate across levels — from classrooms to policy spaces — and their collaboration is central to translating our ideas into practice and enabling systemic reform. Through such engagement, we facilitate dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, contributing to a more coherent and capable ecosystem.
Our work is broadly organised into two interconnected areas — Education and Development. Through our work, we attempt to advance the broader vision of Azim Premji Foundation by strengthening public systems.
